FAQ
What is a podcast?
A podcast is basically a audio file that is "broadcast" to your ipod or mp3 player. Although the "pod" is in the name, they're not exclusive to ipods. A better name would be "mp3cast".
How is it different from downloading an mp3?
Say you want to see if your favorite artist (Subtech right?) has made a new song. You must do the following.
1. Go to the website.
2. See if a new song is available.
3. Download the song.
4. Open your mp3 player / ipod software.
5. Copy the song to your player.
The podcast is far simpler, because the steps above are all done automatically. Open up your mp3 / itunes software, and IF a new file is available, it's delivered to your computer and copied to your music player. Nice and simple eh? Yeah, we think so too.
Can I listen to podcasts if I don't have an Ipod?
You sure can, in fact you don't even need a portable music player at all. You can listen to the podcasts on your computer. Click the icon below to download a free player.
